Fun in the Sun Photo Hunt is Coming!

*** She walks into the room with a naughty twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She places an easel in the middle of the room. ***

This is the poster you see...

*** Without a word she heads for the door. As her fingertips touch the door frame she turns to give everyone a playful wink. ***

LUMIPro - What The People Have To Say...

More often than not when I do a blog post I talked to our users... Well today I thought I would talk to all of you who might've heard of us but are still on the fence. Why don't I share my personal photography story with you? I started out like many of us do casually taking snapshots, and then a friend bought me my very first photo studio. This gave me some avatar and lighting control but it was clumsy and difficult to use. This is about the time I started taking photography more seriously. I had a friend who was involved in it, and I really love to work, she sparked my interest. I was very lucky when later on down the road a guy I was dating passed me an information card about LUMIPro. I danced on the fence for a long time about whether it would be worth it, but I finally took the plunge! Since then I have never looked back. It has to be my most valuable purchase in Second Life.

I know there are many out there who will say, "You work for them now, how can you not be biased?" I don't blame anyone for asking that question, so today I thought I would share some of the reviews right off of our marketplace with you...

Means to SL Photography What the Jet Engine Means to Flight

My photography days go back over 11 and a half years ago when I saw my friend Morgan's ass in my pool and said, "What button do I click to get a picture?" Since then both photography and my interest in it has advanced. While I still consider myself a hobbyist and a wannabe artist I am well versed on tools used for both still photography and machinima. For the former, there is no better product in SL then the LumiPro HUD.
Timesaver - yes. I used to shoot everyone and everything in front of a green screen and figured I'd hope for the best in Photoshop. Now, probably 3/4 of my work is done when I snap the picture. The designer(s) of this product obviously took the time to talk to photographers to see what it was they found lacking for photo tools and what additions they wanted to see in phototools. Whatever they were told was incorporated in this product.
I'm hooked on it. And I am a guy who buys way more than he should and never has time for writing reviews. But I made time for this because this product should be in the inventory of everyone who takes pictures in SL. The price was well worth it.

Amazing

Just dipping my toe in the water, but this is fantastic! Easy to use after watching the videos and reading the blog. Help is available should you need it, but once you get the hang of it (in no time really), your photos will take on a new dimension.
Well worth the money, infact don't even think about it.....find your destination and get clicking!

Awesome!

My newest essential photography tool

I bought this, tried it out, and immediately knew I was going to be using it with every photo I shoot from now on. Being able to create studio-quality lighting setups in a few clicks is invaluable, and beats out fiddling with windlight by a long shot. And it's totally portable, which is great, because I love shooting on location.
Don't feel like you have to be a professional to use this, either. I'm certainly not - and that just makes it all the more useful to have preset professional lighting setups and color sets. It really feels like it's hard to go wrong when using this tool. It makes SL photography even more fun and addictive.
The staff behind LumiPro also seem to be friendly and attentive, and the group is full of supportive, positive people.

I am very proud to say that each of these reviews is recent and unedited. If you still need more information to decide if LUMIPro is the right tool for you feel free to try a fully functional demo at LUMIPro World Headquarters. Stefan's YouTube channel and our users' manual are both packed full of information as well.

If you still have questions or would like more information feel free to contact me, Samantha Ansar-Buscaylet (SamoanHoneyPot Resident) in-world.

I look forward to having  some of you join our community very soon. I will sign off with when I tell all of our users...

Until next time... Happy Shooting!
